Born and raised in Central Iowa , I grew up in a community that instilled hard work and integrity at a young age. My construction career began at the age of 19, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of managing hundreds of residential projects, ranging from townhomes to multi-million dollar custom homes.

I started ZJ Design Build with a simple goal: to break the mold and redefine what it means to be a custom home builder. I wanted to create a process that stands out in a crowded market— one that emphasizes open communication and prioritizes the comfort of my clients, all while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail to ensure a quality home.
